The Ficep Kronos KR32SP (2023) is a high-performance CNC plasma cutting and drilling system designed for precision plate processing. This modern multi-process machine combines plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting and vertical drilling within a single gantry-based platform, offering maximum flexibility for structural steel fabrication and heavy plate production.

Equipped with the advanced Polaris control system and a Hypertherm XPR300 power source, the KR 32 SP delivers excellent cut quality, high processing speeds and consistent drilling performance. The machine is suitable for production environments requiring accurate contour cutting, bevel cutting and drilling operations in thick plate material.

Technical specifications

Hypertherm plasma torches

Fitted with a Hypertherm XPR300 power source and Hypertherm True Hole technology for precise hole quality and superior edge finish. Supports production cutting up to 1-3/4” and edge start cutting up to 3-1/8”.

Bevel cutting capability

Integrated plasma bevel head enables 45° bevel cutting up to 1-1/4” (production) and 2-1/4” (edge start), ideal for weld preparation.

Oxy-fuel cutting unit

Includes one oxy-cutting torch with cutting capacity up to 6” plate thickness (first torch).

Integrated vertical drilling unit

One vertical drill head with ISO 40 tool holder and six-position automatic tool change system. Capable of drilling plates from 1/4” up to 6” thickness, with maximum hole diameter up to 1-9/16” (with special tooling).

Gantry and positioning system

Heavy-duty gantry frame with cross-guide positioning system for plates up to 20 ft. High positioning speeds of 105 FPM in both X and Y axes ensure productive operation.

Material handling system

20 ft. cutting bench with infeed conveyor and powered torch-holder slide for stable and accurate plate processing.
